Visuals for a music fundraiser for the National Day Laborer's Network (NDLON) and Gaza Mutual Aid, produced by Hood Rave, a Black queer underground nightlife event creator.
Part of the objective of the event was to politicize an audience traditionally less engaged in politics. This required a careful balance of bringing up issues without being a total downer on the event which was, at the end of the day, a party.
Informational zine given to attendees on their way out. We were intentional about this to maintain the party atmosphere and to get them thinking about the issues once they were home.
